Judson Virden
Tenor
Judson Virden, tenor, is originally from Richland, Washington. In 2015 he graduated from Gonzaga University with a BA in Vocal Performance and in 2017, he graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music with a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance. While at GU, Judson performed in numerous concerts, including two solo recitals and a semi-staged operetta. During his time with the GU Chamber singers, Judson performed on four continents. In 2014, Judson won the Gonzaga University Concerto and Aria Competition singing “Che gelida manina.” While attending NEC, Judson studied under soprano Jane Eaglen, and had numerous coaching’s and masterclasses, including one with tenor Ben Heppner. In 2016, Judson also performed the role Rinuccio in the Miami Music Festival’s production of Gianni Schicchi. After moving back to Richland in 2017, Judson has performed in numerous local masses and concerts.
